
The Breakdown
It's nice to see Brand working hard this offseason and getting close to the weight he maintained in his prime years on the Clippers. Still, it appears Brand's best days are behind him. Shedding the excess weight won't bring him back to his double-double days as the achilles injury from a few years ago has clearly taken something out of him. Losing weight should help his performance slightly, but don't expect much more than the 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 block we saw out of him last season.
