After I Posted an dragonfly now its time for Damselflies, Damselflies is similar with dragonfly but its shape is smaller or slimmer than dragonfly and Damselflies in my country Indonesia, Java is named Ginjeng Dom (needle) so here a information about Damselflies from the source Wikipedia.

Damselflies (suborder Zygoptera) are insects in the order Odonata. Damselflies are similar to dragonflies, but the adults can be differentiated by the fact that the wings of most damselflies are held along, and parallel to, the body when at rest. Furthermore, the hindwing of the damselfly is essentially similar to the forewing, while the hindwing of the dragonfly broadens near the base. Damselflies are also usually smaller, weaker fliers than dragonflies, and their eyes are separated.

Etymology

Zygoptera comes from the Greek zygo meaning joined or paired and apter meaning wings. They have two pairs of similar wings, unlike the dragonflies (suborder Anisoptera), whose hind wings are broader than their fore wings. Damselflies also can fold their wings up over their backs, and dragonflies can't. Damselflies can land, but not walk.

About Dragonfly I like Dragonfly. When I was child I used to looking for any Dragonflies in the public garden, empty properties land and free wide field in my village, I like looking for them with my friends and brothers, The Dragonfly which I want to cahct is Damarwulan Dragonfly and Orange Dragonfly, Damarwulan (name of princess of Javanese kingdom hundreds years ago) Dragonfly is the most beautiful Dragonfly that most childern want to have it. there is much Ginjeng (Dragonfly) names when I was child such as Ginjeng Jeruk, Ginjeng Dom Ginjeng biasa, Ginjeng biru, Ginjeng setan Ginjeng Damarwulan and more.

A dragonfly is an insect belonging to the order Odonata, the suborder Epiprocta or, in the strict sense, the infraorder Anisoptera. It is characterized by large multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong transparent wings, and an elongated body. Dragonflies are similar to damselflies, but the adults can be differentiated by the fact that the wings of most dragonflies are held away from, and perpendicular to, the body when at rest. Dragonflies possess six legs (like any other insect), but most of them cannot walk well. Dragonflies are one of the fastest insects in world, flying 35 to 60 mph (56 to 96 km/h), with Green Darner dragonfly, as fastest of species.

Dragonflies are valuable predators that eat mosquitoes, and other small insects like flies, bees, ants, and very rarely butterflies. They are usually found around lakes, ponds, streams and wetlands because their larvae, known as "nymphs", are aquatic.
