Stefano Gabbana, um dos criadores da D&G, comentou sobre a campanha: "Nós queríamos continuar a passar a mensagem de um lado mais humano da moda e de nossa herança. Acreditamos que a campanha é confortante e que as pessoas irão se identificar de alguma maneira com as imagens, que mostram um lado mais humano e acessível de Madonna."

Stefano Gabbana, one of the creators of the brand talked: "“We wanted to continue pushing our current message that shows fashion’s more human nature and our heritage. This is yet another tassel of that mosaic. We believe the campaign is comforting and that people will somehow identify themselves in the images, which again display a more human and approachable side of Madonna.”

I love these shots of Rosie as they are so 80s - but in a good way! Lace bodices, body-con dresses, gloves - makes me want to hit the dance floor! I bought an 80s Lisa Ho bodysuit a couple of weeks ago that I can't wait to wear. I think I particularly find the 80s trends fascinating because those are the looks which were my first glances at fashion as a child. The first two images definitely have something very Madonna-esque about them, with the second outfit a 2010 spin on the pink dress worn in Madonna's 1985 "Material Girl" video.
