Jason Wu Fall 2011 | New York Fashion Week

Loving the lace detail on the sweater for a sophisticated, yet still rather relaxed look.

Dot stocking are now on my fall shopping list.

DIY idea - Add a bow ribbon around the neck around a shirt or blouse.

Adorable! Loving the lace across the face too.

 Ah that coat!

 The perfect silhouette

Jason Wu Fall 2011

I could spend all day looking at this collection. It's as though all my favourites have been combined - delicate lace, Swarovski crystals, ostrich feathers, silk blouses, high waited skirts, thin-belted waists, blazers & chic court shoes. Jason Wu's fall collection is sophisticated & dramatic, yet very wearable. It's rare I find a collection where I love and would wear every look. I'm feeling incredibly inspired and excited for the cooler months ahead! Definitely one of my favourite collections for the fall season.

Military Madness

Unknown

There's something about military fashion that keeps it cool season after season. Adding a military coat, blazer, vest or hat instantly adds some edge to any outfit. Perhaps military helmets bursting with feathers are going a little too far, but in fashion fantasy land anything goes :)

Balmain Fall 2010

tfs via knight cat

Balmain's latest collection may not be revolutionary - it's still about skinny pants/jeans, blazers,  shoulder pads, ankle boots and bling. There was an injection of feather coats and leopard prints, however I didn't like the overall look of the outfits as much as the looks I've posted, despite my love of both feathers and leopard. I was thrilled to see the sheer black shirts, metallic skinny legs and navy blazer as I already own pieces like these. I'm really trying to make the most of my current wardrobe, restricting myself to only adding a few keys pieces per season. I thought the set was fantastic too - traditionally Balmain and dramatic - just like the collection!
