The Charlotte Bobcats have signed Kwame Brown to a one-year, $1.3 million deal.
The Breakdown
Brown received very little playing time last season with the Pistons. With the Bobcats, Brown may get an opportunity to play more consistently. Charlotte is very weak at center with only Nazr Mohammed and DeSagana Diop on the roster (Erick Dampier will be waived before the start of the season). It would not surprise me if Brown was able to outplay one of them and become at the very least the back up center. Still, Kwame is strictly deep league fodder. If you're in a deep league and find yourself needing another center, Brown may be worth a shot. More than likely, though, you'll probably want to pass on him and pick him up in free agency when he proves he can be productive.
