Samuel Dalembert to Miss Start of Regular Season

Sacramento Kings center Samuel Dalembert, who has yet to play in the preseason, will be sidelined 4-6 weeks due to a left abductor strain. The injury will cause him to miss the first few weeks of the regular season.

The Breakdown
The injury opens the door for rookie DeMarcus Cousins to step in and start. If Cousins plays well, Dalembert may return to a bench role once he's healthy. Cousins has already been beasting in the preseason, averaging 17 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks. For those who have drafted Cousins, it looks like they will be rewarded for taking a chance on him right from opening night.
