My ipad ( treated jailbreak) is not recognized on PC and is stuck in boot loop.
even in DFU or recovery mode is not recognized by PC.

AE, Premiere, and Maya are my main applications. All of which still have the ability to render faster even with my 12-core machine. When it comes to video and 3D rendering, render times can always be faster.

Alright so here's my problem, my sister brought home a Macbook from her school and she just finished editing an iMovie file, and her friend needs to keep it at her house. I did screen sharing and I was going to upload the file to my dropbox from the computer, but the computer has a password to enter Safari, and won't let you go to any websites without the password. Is there any way to bypass this with some terminal command, or any other way to bypass the password just so I can upload this file to my dropbox.

I tried searching but most of the information was not in recent time, so figured to post a new thread.
I bought a used 3GS 8GB yesterday from a person. The phone is unlocked and jailbroken.
Here is the relevant information:
Version: 4.3.2 (8H7)
Model: MC640LL
Modem Firmware (baseband, i think): 06.15.00
Currently I am using it with T-Mobile, so I know it is unlocked properly.
My question is....
The phone has apps and settings from the previous user. I want to 'reset' or 'restore' or something like that to remove all settings and content from previous user.
If I go to Settings --> General --> Reset and perform a reset, will my phone still be usable with T-Mobile?

The leaks tool doesn't tell you where leaks happened. It tells you where leaked objects were created. The red line is where the leaked string was created.
There's no obvious bug in the code shown. Does anything else leak? Do you release the address in the MapViewController dealloc method? Does the MapViewController leak?

I am trying verify if data recovery is possible on a customers Macbook Air a1304 hard drive. Since Apple decided to use that 1.8" drive I am trying to find an adapter that will work in a desktop SATA or IDE that isn't some ridiculous price. The Air had water spilled on it so it will not turn on nor do I have another air to test it in.
From what I can find the Air uses a 1.8" ZIF drive. Would this ZIF CE 1.8 Microdrive to 3.5 40pin adapte (http://www.amazon.com/ZIF-1-8-Micro-Drive-Adapter/dp/B004AXDA82)r work. Perhaps this Toshiba 1.8 ZIF to 2.5 IDE (http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-1-8-Zif-2-5-Connector/dp/B0018S9RQG) (I have an external enclosure that works with the 2.5 IDE). I also found this external USB enclosure (http://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-Enclosure-1-8-inch-Toshiba-Connector/dp/B0037FR27E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1302904126&sr=8-2). Very nice - this was overdue and definitely needed. I guess Apple is getting everything in order for all the new products they'll be unleashing in the upcoming months. Here's hoping the QC department at Apple didn't fall asleep though, so that these pages won't actually be required that often. If they are, Jobs will not be pleased... :eek: ;) :D

Great post. This worked just fine for downgrading my iPod Touch 4g from 4.2.1 to 4.1. You probably should mention that the person needs to edit their hosts file or else it will fail when verifying the restore with iTunes.
Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and locate �hosts� file.
Open this �hosts� file in Notepad and add this "74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com".
I would of added Mac instructions but unfortunately iReb isn't available for Mac yet.

Well right now I have two computers; my MacBook and my windows PC. I had the PC before hand so all of my files were on that; when I got the Mac I transfereed all of the important things over (pictures, school documents), and kept the movies and things like that on the old computer.
I take my Mac with me, the PC stays at home. Everything I do now is on the Mac, however whenever I download movies, tv shows, things like that I watch them on the 19 inch monitor I have hooked up to the windows laptop.
However for transferring a few files between I use DropBox; great little program that syncs everything in a free 2gb folder to unlimited computers (and devices like Android, iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad).

love the slider's look, feel, and protection but hate the weight it adds and that its not the easiest of cases to slide in and out of my pocket.

Post the exact error message. An "invalid selector" error usually shows the exact selector expected.

I'm just really learning about this type of technology, so I'm curious: what makes a SSD different when erased compared to a traditional disk-spinning HD? I had always heard that, with a traditional HD, even if you erased/reformatted the drive and threw it away that some savvy tech types could somehow either restore your drive or get file fragments to get information, etc? Maybe that's just paranoid urban myth, but that's what I had always heard. What, technologically speaking, makes a SSD different in terms of not retaining old data when erased? Just curious.
