Former Knick Chris Duhon has signed a 4-year, $15 million deal with the Magic to become their primary back up PG.
The Breakdown
Duhon was great in 08-09 in the Knicks fast paced offense, but was a total bust last season. Although he's not draftable in a standard 10-team league, I think he's worth a look in deep leagues. Jameer Nelson, the Magic's starting PG, has been injured for extended periods each of the last 2 seasons. Should he get injured again, Duhon could step in and get big minutes similar to what Jason Williams got last year. Because the Magic are a much better team than the Knicks, Duhon will get a lot more open looks along with more opportunities to score and dish. Keep him on your radar if you're in a deep league and be ready to scoop him up off waivers if Nelson once again suffers a serious injury.
