Houston has shipped David Andersen to Toronto in exchange for a future 2nd round pick and cash considerations.
The Breakdown
With Yao Ming returning next season, the addition of Brad Miller, and the presence of Chuck Hayes, Andersen's size was no longer needed in Houston. Until now, the Raptors did not have a back up center to Andrea Bargnani. Andersen, though, doesn't appear to be a player who can contribute much. Even with the lack of quality centers in Houston last year, Rick Adelman was more confident starting the 6'6" Hayes over Andersen. I would only recommend taking a chance on him at the end of a very deep draft. In standard sized leagues, I doubt he'll be a factor at all.
